Message Well, I am torn to pieces over my Z. I am planning on trading it in for something else, after only 9 months of ownership. Why you ask?

NEVER, EVER, go to a shop called "Webb's Garage" on Central Ave, in Orlando Fl. The guy there who works on the cars is named Frank. Here is a list from January when I bought my Z, I was refered to the guy that previously owned my car to him for a leaking rear main seal.

Webb's Garage has supposedly "replaced" my rear main seal (3 time), clutch, timing belt/water pump/60k service.

To this weekend, my rear main seal has blown THREE TIMES, all replaced by Webb's Garage. After seeing the 3rd one blew, I was fed up and drove the car to Bill Ray Nissan and they found over $4000 worth of problems with my car, most of stuff that should have been done by Webb's Garage.

This includes, the rear main seal, which the oil from damaged the clutch that I had replaced by Frank at Webb's Garage. The new shifter bushings, also replaced, the cam seals/timing belt/water pump is probably not done, we have yet to check that out when the mechanic opens the valve covers etc.

Right now, I am attempting to obtain my money back from Webb's Garage. The company ONLY takes cash.

Here is a list of stuff wrong with my Z
Oil leak 1 - Left bank, passenger side seal (under plenium?) is leaking. $1010.50
Oil Leak 2 - Rear main seal (this would be 4th time replacing) Clutch probably damaged, needs new clutch. $788
Shifter bushings improperly installed, new ones installed $117 (This is probably high, since the parts are only about $4 and can be installed at time of transmission drop)
Both mufflers rusted out and bottom is totally gone (really loud =) - $379.99 each for nissan ones, but I'd buy aftermarket.
$646.46 if timing belt/water pump are bad and never replaced when Webb's Garage did it.
$156 - Clutch slave cylinder leaking
Top P-dog bones worn $380
Tension bars gone $271.00
Grand total $4031.72 to get my car back to operation specs.
It also needs new tires $600.

Thus I am warry about putting that much money into a 10 year old car, and that the crankshaft may be worn, causing the rear main seal to blow perodically. Thus I am trading in my beloved Z. I hope NO one ever goes to Webb's garage, because most of the stuff on that list, if done properly, would have saved me a big pain in the ass.
